  This hotel just cancelled our room with two days' notice due to 'water damage' from a stag party - at one of the busiest times in Blackpool's summer calendar. They did not find us alternative accomodation, and I've just had to re-book another hotel at considerable extra expense. Stonhehouse hotel should be picking this cost up, as well as my transport during my stay in Blackpool as I have reduced mobility and no longer close to the venue I'm attending.

  Room was small and could do with a good clean. For the price of what I paid for the room I couldn't really complain tho.

  Booked at the last minute, costing a £85 for a Saturday night. Tiny room, terrible decor (could it even be called decor?) Carpet looked thirty years old and smelled, bed was probably older and the mattress was completely knackered with no cushioning over the springs whatsoever. Evening entertainment was provided at 6am courtesy of drunk lady and 'tramp' boyfriend... Breakfast was OK considering and the staff pleasant. Seriously folks, avoid unless you're paying a tenner. Five star review above must be a joke.
